CANI™ Celebrates 15th Year
April 10th, 2006
Clovis, CA – The Consultants Association for the Natural Products Industry (CANI), founded in 1991 by industry consultants committed to enhancing the growth and integrity of the natural products, nutraceutical and food industries, celebrated its 15th anniversary with the introduction of a re-branding campaign at Expo West in March.
Under the direction of Karena Dillon, CANI President, the non-profit group unveiled a new logo, trade show booth and full-color 44-page member directory.
The new logo, in several shades of green carries a large leaf motief and highlights the Association’s acronym – CANI. In 2006, the logo will also highlight the group’s longevity by adding the tagline: Celebrating 15 Years.
The new logo was produced by Dan Mishkind, principal of Pure Design Co. of Leverett, MA. Pure Design Co. has been a CANI member sine 2005.
“Our goal in designing the logo was to bring a new-found recognition and increase awareness of the Association which has been successful in providing a wide range of business services to the industry over the past 15 years,” Mishkind said. “Based on the response at Expo West, I believe we have achieved that goal.”
“As a non-profit organization all CANI officer and directors are volunteers,” said Dillon who is also president of the Baker Dillon Group, a total involvement marketing firm. “Our members include many well-known industry individuals and companies, who have helped make CANI a recognized name.”
Dillon also noted that the Association increased its marketing program during its milestone anniversary year. CANI was a sponsor at Virgo Publishing’s Focus on the Future in February and sponsored the Robert Forbes & Associates international newsletter in February/March. CANI will also add new trade show exhibit venues including All Things Organic in Chicago and NNFA-West Healthy Harvest in September.
In addition, Dillon announced that CANI is designing a new web site which is scheduled to be launched by May 1. For a free CANI member directory and more information about CANI business referrals or consultant membership, contact CANI.
